[Sponsored] Mubanga Kalimamukwento wins Best Fiction at the 2020 CDI Zambia Tell Your Own Story National Book Awards

Congratulations to author Mubanga Kalimamukwento for winning the Best Fiction Award at the 2020 CDI Zambia Tell Your Own Story National Book Awards!

Kalimamukwento’s winning novel The Mourning Bird was also the 2019 Dinaane Debut Fiction Award winner.

The awards, now in their third year, are an initiative of Concept Developers Initiatives through its partnership with Unza Radio, and are meant to facilitate the growth of the literary culture in Zambia.
