The new episode of our books show Read This!, where we share news of what’s hot in the world of literature, is out today!
In the fourth episode of Read This!, out on Monday 7 October, Mphuthumi Ntabeni reviews The Eternal Audience of One, the debut novel by Rwandan–Namibian author Rémy Ngamije.
Ntabeni himself is an author; his debut novel The Broken River Tent was published in 2018.
Ntabeni says Ngamije’s prose ‘sparkles and pops’, and calls The Eternal Audience of One a millennial novel that intricately traces the nuances of immigrant life.
The episode also features a special treat—a recording of the author Ngamije reading an excerpt from his book.
