The JRB presents Victor Dlamini’s literary portraits of Keorapetse ‘Bra Willie’ Kgositsile.
South Africa’s National Poet Laureate, Keorapetse Kgositsile, passed away in Johannesburg on 3 January 2018, at the age of seventy-nine.
Apart from the respect he garnered for his writing, his activism and his intellect, Kgositsile was known for his ever-present, wide smile, which The JRB Photo Editor Victor Dlamini captured in a series of portraits over the years.
