The JRB presents tunes and accompanying editorial from our EAP member Tymon Smith.
The Minister of Audioacity presents a first salvo in his project to ease you, as gently as a potholed main Johannesburg road will allow, into the already dark night of 2023.
In preparation for this first presentation, the Minister has done due diligence: taken note of those audioacity pioneers who have moved on to the big, efficient, always working city in the sky but left us their enduring creations for generations to come. The Minister has also been keenly reading and watching a wide variety of suitably hysterical post-apocalyptic focused fare, in an effort to understand where we might be going, and prepare accordingly.
As the year progresses and resources continue to be ever more precious, the Minister pledges that Radio JRB will continue to broadcast either until the zombies overrun it, or eat the cables and equipment before inevitably devouring the Minister.
Audioacity is serious business, even more so in the moment of the Empire’s decline and fall and so rest assured that the Minister of Audioacity and his team of dedicated felines are here to take care of your ears. The rest of your senses are in the hands of the gods. Remember, with your noise cancelling headphones on, you can’t hear anyone scream.
